I agree, Twitter wins hands down on the portability aspect. The facebook app for iPhone is horrible. I manage 5 different Facebook pages, and I have to use Facebook on Safari to access them.

@MLDina - Linkedin is great for professional networking, but I have had a hard time figuring out how to use it for marketing a business. Any thoughts?

I must say that Twitter also wins handily on Portability and Accessibility.

Facebook continues to frustrate me when I am activating my iPhone or perusing with the help of a search engine. I very well can't interact with a Facebook Page on my iPhone and Facebook marketing efforts will never show up anywhere other than Facebook itself.

Conversely, Twitter content consistently bubbles up in my google searches and all the necessary Twitter functions work on the mobile platform.

I tried to make my comment sound like I'm wearing a monocle. Did it work?

I love using Facebook and Twitter, but also find LinkedIn and Ning to be extremely valuable. I did a post on social and business networking on Tyler Cruz's blog recently- we share a lot of the same opinions. Good to know I'm not the only one!
