About NTHS
The National Technical Honor Society was established in 1984. Prior to 1984, little
was being done to lift up outstanding career and technical students. Today, the NTHS
continues to carry out its mission to lift up and publicly recognize all heroes, men
and women committed to excellence, values, courage, and achievement 鈥� the tested and
true fabric of a great nation. NTHS is also leading the way to introduce America鈥檚
top career and technical students to staffing professionals or America鈥檚 top Corporations.
Requirements
Membership requirements for the students:
- Overall G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale
- G.P.A. for technical program
- Faculty or staff recommendation
- Active involvement in student government, civic or service organizations
