Department Mission Statement
The Mission for the Science and Mathematics Department is to provide a basic program
in science and mathematics for students in academics and, vocational technical divisions
as well as the community.
Department Goals:
- To provide the first two years of university parallel course for students who wish
to earn a four year degree in science and mathematics.
- To provide the first two years of preparation in Science and Mathematics for students
who will transfer to professional schools, four year colleges and universities.
- To provide supportive Science and Mathematics courses to meet the needs for students
in non-science and non-mathematics curricula.
